Visit by Bertrand Russell College 10 January 2018

Welcome to SST

On 10 January 2018, SST hosted visitors from Bertrand Russell College.

SST did an introduction to its vision, mission, values, goals, curriculum, and SST’s approach to applied learning.

They were given a brief introduction of the school and brought on a tour of the facilities. The students also had lessons such as Applied Learning in Physics where they learnt how to build an SST Arduino Thermometer. Other lessons included ICT Applications and Applied Subject Lessons.  Lastly, they also participated in various CCAs with their SST buddies!

Thank you for visiting SST!

This blog is created especially for you to serve as an alternative interaction platform where our conversation continues!

The school already looks really impressive, it is large, open and green and we were enthusiastically received. The school is very proud of their achievements since they are still very young, but they have achieved a lot already. The school is unique in its programme which is really suited for modern society. Really much emphasis on design. Everything they create is showcased very openly so we can see what is going on in school. Many smart kids. We can learn a lot from this school and their engaging projects. Very great adventure for me as a physics teacher. 🙂
